Sana Javed, born on 6 June 1993, is a prominent Pakistani actress renowned for her appearances on Urdu television. Her journey began in 2012 with Shehr-e-Zaat, marking her debut, and she subsequently featured in numerous serials. Recognition came her way when she portrayed the titular role in the romantic drama Khaani, earning a Lux Style Awards nomination. Javed further solidified her acclaim through social-based dramas like Ruswai and Dunk, with the former earning her the PISA Award for Best Actress Critics.


Career-wise, Sana Javed initially entered the industry as a young model, featuring in television commercials. Her acting career took off with a supporting role in the 2012 series Mera Pehla Pyar and a brief appearance in Shehr-e-Zaat the same year.


In 2016, Javed ascended to fame with an antagonist role in the Hum TV romantic drama Zara Yaad Kar, alongside Zahid Ahmed and Yumna Zaidi. Her foray into films occurred in 2017 with the socio-comedy Mehrunisa V Lub U, starring opposite Danish Taimoor. That year, she was initially cast for the lead role in Rangreza but withdrew for personal reasons. Notably, her portrayal of Khaani in the eponymous romantic drama garnered widespread acclaim.


The year 2020 saw Javed captaining the Islamabad Dragons in the Jeeto Pakistan League, a Ramadan special reality show. Additionally, she starred in Dunk, playing a university student who falsely accuses her professor of sexual harassment. While the series received criticism for its subject matter, Javed's performance garnered praise.


In her personal life, Sana Javed, born on 25 March 1993 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia to Pakistani parents, moved to Lahore after completing her education at the Pakistan International School in Jeddah. She later graduated from the University of Karachi. In October 2020, she entered matrimony with singer Umair Jaswal in a private Nikah ceremony, but the marriage ended in divorce on 28 November 2023. On 19 January 2024, she embarked on her second marriage, tying the knot with former Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik in a ceremony at her home in Karachi, a joyous occasion they shared on Instagram.
